Copying text from windows environment to Dos:
Step 1. Select your text (for ex text in notepad etc.,) also copy it to clipboard.
(edit -> copy or press ctrl + c)
Step 2. Now open dos window.. (type "cmd.exe" (without quotes) in "Run" dialogue box in Windows XP)
Step 3. Place the mouse pointer where you want text, and then right click choose "Paste".That's all!! NOTE THAT "ctrl + v" won't work here..
Copying text from DOS environment to Windos:
Step 1. Activate the control menu of Dos Window by pressing Alt + Space bar OR you can click at top lef most icon of the window..
Step 2. Select "Edit" and then choose "mark".
Step 3. Now cursor will change and you are able to select desired text..so select desired text. Drag your mouse over desired text..
Step 4. Again select "edit" from control menu and then choose "copy" OR you can simply press 'Enter' key. Now the copied text is available in windows clip board.
Step 5. So open any editor in windows environment such as notepad, MS-word and press ctrl + V (or edit -> paste)
